Many VVH residents have limited resources and a limited external support network. VVH often is their only “family.” Here is how you can help.

Charitable Giving: Donations to VVH are used to support individual residents or to augment programs. Donations may be used to buy clothing and a piece of furniture for a resident or for enrichment activities for all residents such as supporting concerts or bingo prizes. Thus, donations may be made in an unrestricted fashion or for a particular purpose. These donations are tax deductible

Volunteering: Members of service organizations such as the Elks, as well as individual volunteers, are always welcome and needed at the VVH. Volunteer activities are diverse and include friendly visiting, assisting resident groups of personal interest, using special talents, and assisting residents in letter writing.
