NURSE EDUCATOR
The Vermont Veterans' Home (VVH) is a skilled nursing facility seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Educator to join our team in providing care to our veterans and members with the dignity and respect that they so rightfully deserve.  "Our mission:  The Vermont Veterans' Home provides best of class healthcare services to veterans', their spouses and gold star parents while honoring their choices and respecting their right of self-determination."  We provide clinical oversight along with a wide range of services for long term and short stay admissions.
The Nurse Educator works with the entire interdisciplinary team to ensure staff receive best practice/regulatory compliance education and understanding.  Planning, administrative, educational, supervisory and evaluative work at a professional level that supports the development and implementation of education and training programs in the facility.  The candidate should demonstrate excellent organization skills.  He/she ensures mandatory educational offerings are completed, supports improvement of patient care and enhances recruitment and retention of al. NURSE SUPERVISOR - NIGHTS (INTERIM)
The Vermont Veterans’ Home (VVH) is a skilled nursing facility seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Supervisor to join our team in providing care to our veterans and members with the dignity and respect that they so rightfully deserve. “Our mission: The Vermont Veterans’ Home provides best of class healthcare services to Veterans, their spouses and gold star parents while honoring their choices and respecting their right of self- determination”.    We provider person centered care and all residents/families are encouraged to be active participants.   We provide clinical oversight along with a wide range of services for long term and short stay admissions.  Nursing supervisors works with the resident providers, administration and manage nursing care plans, as well as instruct patients and their families in proper treatment for the highest level of function/quality of life.  Our Nurse Supervisor performs supervisory, advisory and clinical care functions at VVH for the population of patients during a shift.   Ensures the provision of a full range of services to veterans and members with a variety of needs.  Incumbents exercise a high level of independent clinical decision making and provide leadership of clinical and non-clinical staff. VETERANS’ HOME UTILITY WORKER / HOUSEKEEPING
The primary duties for this position will be in Housekeeping but may also include duties in Laundry as well.  Housekeeping duties are mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of living spaces and common areas within the home.
