Starting today, outdoor visits only on American Way at the Vermont Veterans’ Home. Visitors must use the unit entrance, sign in on the Accushield screening device, complete the screening, go directly to the Veteran’s/Member’s room and take the resident outside. After the visit, the visitor is to return the resident to their room and then the visitor must sign out on the Accushield screening device.
Indoor visits are permitted on Brandon, Cardinal, and North adhering to the proper sign-in, screening, and sign-out procedure with the Accushield screening device on the unit. Compassionate care visits are allowed on all units. There will be a Zoom meeting tonight at 5 pm.
