The Vermont Veterans’ Home is a comprehensive health center that offers many services on both a residential and outpatient basis. Our care is directed by our Veterans and Members, resident centered and based on the their “preferences.” We are consistently rated the highest in comparisons of homes across the United States. Our dementia unit has been recognized as one of the highest quality in the country and techniques such as, relaxation room and Music and Memory, were innovated at the Veterans’ Home. We value our Veterans and how they lived their lives. Our plan is to develop a plan of care with the assistance of the Veteran, member and/or family members that accommodates as many personal preferences as possible.
