Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day Visits
To ensure each Veteran and Member is afforded the opportunity to visit with their family members on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day we are requiring visitors to schedule appointments. This will ensure that we maintain the COVID-19 infection control requirements while allowing holiday visits.
If you loved one is in a private room, you do not need to make an appointment unless you would like to use one of the unit’s visiting rooms.

Individuals without a scheduled visit appointment will be prohibited from having an indoor visit. Please do not put VVH staff in the position of having to deny you and your loved one a visit by showing up without an appointment.
OUTDOOR VISITS DO NOT REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT. One member of the family will be permitted to enter the facility, complete the required visitation screening, and assist your loved one outside. A family member is then permitted to enter the building at the end of the visit to assist your loved one back to their room.
